Freethought can provide carbon neutral rack space in either of our data centre locations. We have our own private secure cage in LDeX1 in North London, or you can take space with us in LDeX2 in Media City, Manchester.
When taking rack space with Freethought you can be assured that your equipment is safe and secure, protected by a variety of security measures including 24/7 monitored CCTV, virtual trip wires, man traps, facial recognition biometric security, as well as a 24/7/365 manned NOC.
All our racks come with dual 32A A+B power feeds backed up by 2N UPS and diesel generators. Racks must have a minimum power commitment of 8A but can be specified all the way up to 43A with the addition of a cooling hood. High power requirements can be delivered as multiple A+B 32A power feeds or as three phase power.
At no extra cost to our customers, all our rack space is 100% carbon neutral powered by renewable energy and offset with biodiversity projects in South America.
Should you require cross connects within the data centre there is a one off cost of £120 (inc VAT) for a copper cross connect, or £350 (inc VAT) for a fibre cross connect, there is no recurring cost for either.
If you need to connect to someone who isn't present in LDeX1 or LDeX2 then we can always provide you with a point to point connection to Telehouse North, one of the oldest and best connected carrier neutral data centres in the world. We can also provide ethernet circuits to any address within the UK at speeds of up to 10Gbps (Subject to survey).
Should you require it we can also provide IP transit to your rack with free cross connects to our highly peered 10Gbps national network. 100Mbps CDR on a 1G port costs £1.20/Mbps (inc VAT) with discounts per Mbps for higher CDRs up to 10Gbps.
