Virtual Private Servers

When you've outgrown shared hosting but don't want to move up to a full blown dedicated server yet, a Virtual Private Server or VPS is the next logical step. This provides you with the power and flexibility of your own isolated server environment with full root/administrator access to make changes as you wish but without the extra cost associated with a full blown dedicated server.

Unlike some other VPS providers, our Virtual Private Servers are configured to allocate you guaranteed amounts of both memory and disk space, so that you aren't fighting with other customers on the same server to use the resources that you buy. Because of this, it isn't possible for us to oversell the memory or disk space on our server nodes thus guaranteeing you the best experience possible.

All of our VPS are based on the Xen hypervisor virtualisation technology and run on quad core Intel Xeon servers with at least 8GB of RAM. As with all of our other hosting services, these servers are housed in BlueSquare's N+1 redundant data centre in Maidenhead and connected to AS41000, our own redundant BGP network.

Our billing system automatically deploys your Virtual Private Server with your choice of Linux distribution or even Windows Server within minutes of payment being received. Once up and running, you can then managed your VPS through an easy to use web based interface that allows you to startup, shutdown, reboot and even re-install your VPS from our selection of templates. This intuitive control panel also provides you with full console access to your VPS from within your web browser.
